Barbara Grimm-Marshall

Barbara Grimm-Marshall is the co-owner of Grimmway Farms, the world’s largest grower, packer and shipper of fresh, processed, and frozen carrots.

Grimmway -www.grimmway.com- is a leading supplier of organic carrots, carrot juice concentrate and fresh citrus; and is the largest organic vegetable grower, packer and shipper in the nation.

Mrs. Grimm-Marshall previously ran her own consulting business, Grimm & Associates, specializing in employee training programs. She is also a former real estate government relations specialist and administered community development block grant funds for the City of Palm Springs.

She is former staff to the U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development and to the late California Congressman Victor V. Veysey.

Last year, Mrs. Grimm-Marshall was instrumental in the Central Valley campaign for Governor Arnold Schwarzennegger.

She gives her time to numerous organizations, including serving on the board of directors of St. John Lutheran Church, Kern County Museum, and on the Board of Regents for Concordia University, Irvine, and the California State University, Bakersfield Foundation Board.

Mrs. Grimm-Marshall earned a B.A. from Stephen’s College in Columbia, Missouri, and her J.D. from Western State University of Law, Fullerton, California.

Mrs. Grimm-Marshall lives in Bakersfield. She has three children and recently re-married after death of Rod Grimm, to Darcy Marshall of Bakersfield.
